| ![]() Ok this is really curious, messages are getting stuck in the local delivery que of Exchange 2003 running on SBS 2003 Virtually on VMWare. Everything was until around mid day today, the issue seems to be affecting only two users? The only work done on the server today was require secure channel (SSL) and require 128-bit encryption were removed (un-ticked) in EXAdmin for default website in Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager but I have restored these settings and the issue persists. These settings were removed initially because I couldnt view the public folders in Exchange system manager due to SSL Certificate mismatched name. I have removed these settings previously with no issues. Any ideas would be much appreciated! Sponsored Links |

| ![]() Hello Billy, Thanks for your post and Merv's input. In addition, you may use Queue Viewer to check if there are still any un-posted mails stuck in Local delivery Queue now. This queue contains messages that have been queued on the Exchange Server computer for local delivery to an Exchange mailbox. For more information about Local delivery Queue, please refer to KB823489. How to use Queue Viewer to troubleshoot mail flow issues in Exchange Server 2003 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823489/en-us Hope it helps. Removing the user account and putting it back on did the trick though :-) Cheers :-) |

Have frozen/unfrozen and forced connection but no joy. I have even deleted all with and without NDR to clear the queue but new emails instantly build back up and are not delivered? I have tried the links Merv provided and tried some stuff from the internet including restarting the server, restarting Exchange services, ending inetinfo.exe and a registry hack to reset message status = 1. I am totally clueless now? the issue started when connecting clients to a virtual machine implementation of our server following hardware failure. Outlook wouldnt DL mail but deleting then re-adding users profiles from mail applet in CP sorted this. I then removes SSL from EXAdmin in IIS default website so I could see public folders in Exchange system manager as certificate wouldnt allow system manager to display public folders and the issue began. I dont think the reconfig of SSL on the EXAdmin is the cause though as I have done this many times in the past with no issue. Stumped, thanks again :-) Sponsored Links |
